Marli Emenhiser, MSM, LBSW

Marli Emenhiser started Neutral Ground Solutions in 2014 after Hamilton County's only supervised parenting time service- Family Access Center- closed.  Marli continued to work as a Licensed Social Worker in the areas of domestic violence, mental health/addictions, and children/family services while growing Neutral Ground Solutions.  

Today, Marli's focus on complex family circumstances and proactive, early intervention has led her to include education, coaching, mediation, and parenting coordination services under Neutral Ground Solutions' umbrella.   She specializes in working with children so their voices and experiences are included in the process.  Marli is a passionate educator about the benefits of respecting children's roles within the family and allowing them to teach us how to be better parents and caregivers.  

Marli received an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Ball State University and graduate degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan. She is a licensed social worker and registered mediator.  Marli is a trained parenting coordinator through AFCC, a trained Child Consultant for Child Inclusive Mediation, and is certified to teach Active Parenting and Nurturing Parenting education curriculums.  Marli has served on multiple Boards of Directors including the Domestic Violence Network, Indiana 211, and currently serves for the Indiana Association of Mediators.  Marli enjoys coaching new mediators during their 40-hour mediation training with Marla Hylton and Marsha Hackenberg, and collaborates with other professionals in the area to provide new and unique services.  

The best part about my work is giving parents an opportunity to understand what their kids are experiencing so they can use that information to build a better life for their family.  You may not believe it but I am a total social introvert.  I'm perfectly happy spending free time at home with my family, a few friends, my cat, and a good book!
